Joint News Release from the IAEA, SFIP, and EWAD

This news release just in from the IAEA, SFIP and the EWAD (Everybody Wants to be an Art Director). I know how this played out. Stan the stick figure sketcher’s hand was forced by an ignorant manager. Initially Stan started with an illustration of the radiation symbol and skull and crossbones. However Stan’s manager did not feel that imminent death (implied by the skull and crossbones) was sufficient to get people to leave. So Stan was asked to add the universal symbol for run away.

I have grown to love Flickr
‘s explore pages. Just simply incredible photos by so many different talented people out there. It is another great example of what the internet was made to do.
I have always thoroughly enjoyed caution drawings (aka Stick Figures in Peril). My father owns a commercial print shop and the presses have these drawings all over them. So from a young age I have gotten giggles from the “don’t slice yourself in half” illustrations. You can imagine my glee when the Flickr Explore page led me to this pool of photos
