Making the World a Little More Connected
Posted by A R Baboon in Computer Science on July 24, 2007
I have sent a new version of LookOut to addons.mozilla.org (AMO). Of course I am still waiting for them to approve the last version I submitted. This new version fixes a metadata reading bug and added RTF decoding/decompression. It would be nice if the RTF could be viewed inline but at least it is accessible. TNEF encapsulated RTF and HTML body text (as opposed to an explicit attachment) will now show as attachments named body_part_#.rtf or body_part_#.html. Until the AMO folks get around to it you will find the LookOut 1.2 xpi in the project website.
Enjoy,
Aron

I can’t help but think those are some big birthing hips

I thought the movie was excellent. It really brought me back to my childhood. That and the compositing blew the socks off of me …guess I better put my socks back on…

The Ultimate Gift from a Mother-In-Law

In this case I am referring to a gift from my mother to my son but it impacts my wife. The gift is a talking toy vacuum. Seems innocuous enough. I am sure my mother had no idea that it was a talking vacuum that would fling criticisms of our hygiene as my son walked around with it. In between the regular things you would hear from a talking kid toy, here are some of the things it says:
- Is that a rabbit? No, its just a dust bunny.
- Lets clean up this mess.
- This place is a pig sty.
- Did a tornado come through here?
My son has been playing with this every available minute since he got it yesterday. Well, at least he is getting the enjoyment out of it.
