Two big comments:
1) Make your banner image clickable. There’s no easy way to go back to your homepage otherwise.
2) Have you considered Plogger for your photo organizing needs? It produces much nicer on-the-fly galleries as well as RSS feeds of your gallery. And it’s very easy to integrate into WordPress (no plugin yet, but one’s coming).
