I am having a little trouble getting back to posting so I decided to post a programming nugget. This is a nice little way to get a clear picture of your CVS working area:
cvs status | egrep “(Need|Mod)”
I have this in my .bashrc:
alias cvsstatus cvs status | egrep “(Need|Mod)”

Searching Gets a Little More Complete

Google is rolling out string completion on its searches. I wish this could have been tab completion, but oh well. Also out is Google Scholar which does seem to contain technical journals and should make my life much easier.
